Prayer tonight. Wednesday, January 6th, at 7 pm at Church. Pray with people by phone if you cannot come.
Read Isaiah 58. Focus on verses 10-11. The Lord is speaking to us to bow before Him, to seek Him with our whole hearts, to know Him more!
“IF you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, THEN your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a well watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”
PRAY: Lord, today, wake me up to see, open my ears to hear Your Word and Your voice, take away my complacency, lethargy, and laziness in seeking and knowing You. Help me to see that I have a place in the Body of Christ and that I am called to love You and to serve You in this world. Help me to be strong in You Lord, and give me the courage to take my place of service and leadership in Christ for the Nations Church. Help me to see those who are hungry and afflicted- people who need salvation, healing, and freedom, those who need Your love, Your provision, Your peace.
Show us at Christ for the Nations Church how to minister effectively in worship and the Word, in evangelism, in freedom and deliverance, in discipleship, and in reaching out to help people with physical, spiritual and soul needs. Help us to work together as the Body of Christ to edify believers, raising them up to be ministers of reconciliation.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for continually guiding us, individually and corporately, as we obey Your Word. Thank you for taking care of our personal and family needs in the times of challenge, famine and drought. Thank You for healing us personally. Thank You for healing those we are interceding for – in body, soul and spirit. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit. Let our lights shine brightly for You! Thank you that the rivers of Your Holy Spirit will fill us and will gush forth from us as rivers of life- as we share the Gospel, bring healing, bring freedom to the captives, heal the brokenhearted, and comfort those who mourn.
We proclaim that 2021 is the YEAR OF THE LORD!! (Isaiah 61: 1-3) Lord, we proclaim that Your will be done in our lives, our homes, our Church, CFNI Campus, our Community, and the United States of America!! Bring Awakening, Revival and Restoration!
We proclaim unity in the Body of Christ. We pray the prayer that Jesus prayed to the Father in John 17: 9-26. (Special Emphasis on verses 20-22.) “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word, that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:”
Today, we pray for:
- Healing for young Christian Burns whose heart rate has gone down and is on an intravenous feeding tube.
- Continued healing and restoration of memory for Rebecca Patton’s sister Ruth who had lost all memory and all desire to do anything.
- Protection for Miss Emma who is in quarantine at Good Life since there have been covid cases there.
- Healing and freedom for Sherry Streetly’s family.
- For revival among our Children, Youth, and Young Adults!
- Finances for tuition for our CFNI students.
- For more students to come to CFNI and CFN Church this semester.
- For people to be involved in their anointed areas of ministry in CFN Church this year.
With our Love
